Although my family has farmed in the Vulcan and Foothills County areas for over 100 years, I fell into the jewellery industry quite by accident.  After a chance meeting with Scott Mitchell, my husband Dale and I decided Vulcan would be a wonderful place to open our jewellery store, which we did in 2008. We’ve raised our three sons Riley, Samuel and Nicholas on the Cooke family homestead north of Herronton, making them the fourth generation of family to live there.  Of course, when raising boys, there was always an opportunity to utilize the hospital in Vulcan, and we were always grateful for the wonderful care we received!

Having been involved in other grass roots led, community endeavors within Vulcan County, I was honored to be asked to sit on the Vulcan County Health and Wellness Foundation as a Trustee in 2022.  Giving back to the community we serve with our business has always been important, and I am looking forward to being able to do that by helping create a healthy future for the generations to come.
