  • Location: Vulcan Golf & County Club
  • Date: Friday June 20, 2025
  • Registration and Continental Breakfast: 8:30 to 10:00 am – Shotgun Start at 10:00 am
  • Fundraising Goal: To raise $50,000 to support the updates to the Vulcan Community Health Centre’s Palliative Care Suite
  • Team Registration is open today!

  • Cost: $500 per team of 4 golfers
  • Payment by: Cash, Cheque (payable to the Vulcan County Health & Wellness Foundation, or e-transfer (vchw.foundation@gmail.com)
  • Maximum of 25 Teams (100 golfers) – registrations on a first come first served basis

FORMAT

  • A fun, non-competitive 4-person team scramble
  • Any team member’s drive can be used on any or every hole
  • No handicaps are required
  • The T-boxes will be moved forward, and the pins located in a golfer friendly location
  • There is a 2-putt rule on all greens – we are not selling “mulligans”
  • Only one foursome at a time – you golf with your 3 teammates 
  • Non-golfers do not have to worry about duffing a shot – no one cares

  • REGISTRATION FEE – $500 per Team

    Same price for Members and Non-members

    • All registered golfers will receive a CRA Tax Receipt
      • The exact value of the tax receipt will be calculated after all tournament expenses have been paid.

Dollars gifted through the 2024 Pledge Drive and the 2025 Golf events will support our Vulcan Community Health Teams as we work toward updating the Palliative Care Room at the Vulcan Community Health Centre.

VULCAN COUNTY HEALTH & WELLNESS FOUNDATION’S FUNDRAISING INITIATIVES

  • Current initiatives include, but are not limited to: 
        • $500 Bursaries available for professional healthcare workers working in Vulcan County and first responders in Vulcan County. 
        • Wellness programs in the Foundation’s Wellness Centre located in the Vulcan Community Health Centre
        • Supporting our healthcare teams by investing in technology

    The Friends of Vulcan County Emergency Services will be conducting a very creative 50/50.
    Funds raised by the 50/50 will go to support health and wellness initiatives for our Vulcan County First Responders.

OBJECTIVE

The primary objective of this year’s tournament is to raise funds for the Foundation’s current fundraising initiatives. Current initiatives include, but are not limited to:

  • Investing in the latest technology that directly supports front-line healthcare workers throughout Vulcan County
  • Funding continuing education opportunities for Vulcan County’s healthcare professionals and first responders through the Foundation’s Bursary Program
  • Increasing access to wellness programming throughout Vulcan County

Our goal is to raise $50,000

Platinum Sponsor ($5,000.00)

As the sponsor:

  • Your name or corporate logo on the registered guest swag item
  • Your name or corporate logo on the VCHWfoundation.com home page banner
  • Your signage will be displayed inside and outside of the Clubhouse
  • You will be invited to set up a corporate display on one of the holes
  • Receive recognition in all Foundation digital/social media promotional materials
  • You will be recognized at the post-tournament dinner and will be invited to say a few words before the dinner.
  • You will be invited to enter two complimentary teams (8 golfers) in the tournament. Carts included.

Description and Value for Sponsoring

  • The signs are an 18 x 24-inch corrugated plastic lawn signs. 
  • Your name and the name of your business will be stencilled onto the sign.

As a sponsor, you will 

    • Have your name and/or company name on a sign that will be seen by over 100 golfers and volunteers
    • Receive recognition in all Foundation digital/social media promotional materials

24-Hour Golf Challenge Sponsor ($500.00)

As the sponsor:

  • Sponsorship will provide all the equipment required for our 24-hour golf challenge players to play in the dark.
  • Your signage will be displayed inside and outside of the Clubhouse.
  • Your name on all print and digital promotional and marketing materials.
  • You will be recognized at the post-tournament dinner.

Hole-in-One Sponsor ($200.00)

As the sponsor:

  • This is your opportunity to have a hole the day of the tournament to market your business. You will need to provide insurance for the hole and display prize offering.
  • You will have the opportunity to brand the hole to the tournament guests as you wish.

 

Crowd Release Notice Filming-Photography

By entering and event or program of the Vulcan County Health and Wellness Foundation, you are entering an area where photography, audio and video recording may occur.

Your entry and presence on the event premises constitute your consent to be photographed, filmed and otherwise recorded and to the release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction of any and all recorded media of your appearance, voice, and name for any purpose whatsoever in perpetuity in connection with the Vulcan County Health and Wellness Foundation and its initiatives, including, by way of example only, use on websites, in social media, news and advertising.

By entering the event premises, you waive and release any claims you may have related to the use of recorded media of you at the event, including, without limitation, any right to inspect or approve the photo, video or audio recording of you, any claims for invasion of privacy, violation of the right of publicity, defamation, and copyright infringement or for any fees for the use of such recorded media.

You understand that all photography, filming and/or recording will be done in reliance on this consent.

If you do not agree to the foregoing, please do not enter the event premises.
